The Empty Grave is 50,000 square feet of haunted special effects and is just a block from Disneyland at Garden Walk. In combination with Disneyland, that makes a perfect family day trip! Except with a maze based on a storyline that includes an insane grave keeper that needs to kill to stop the screams of the dead (kind of a Catch-22, right?), this is no Tea Cup Ride although when you leave the world might be spinning.

The Old Zoo at Griffith Park is said to be one of the most haunted places in Los Angeles. Once home to many exotic animals, the old zoo was put out of operation when the animals started exhibiting crazy behavior and killing zoo visitors. When it was declared that the zoo was evil and a church was built next to it, the church doors closed by themselves and the whole building caught on fire. Even today, many people think that this is how many of Griffith Park's "mystery" fires start. Now you can go on a Haunted Hayride through the Old Zoo, visit a Haunted Carnival, and walk through a Haunted Haymaze. Just make sure you run if you see any rabid animals!

Floating menacingly on the foggy, shark-infested waters of Long Beach, the Queen Mary ocean liner is one of Southern California's most internationally highlighted haunted attractions. Why? Because it's really haunted. Even if it's April, you can feel the ghostly energy when you walk in. During October, the Queen Mary sets up spooky mazes but you'll be hard-pressed to figure out which ghosts are actors and which ghosts are real. If you are really brave, you might be able to snag a room at the Queen Mary. But you better watch out or you might be sleeping with the fishes!
