Krispy Kreme Japan Gets America-Themed Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme has a new line of limited-edition, America-themed doughnuts, but they're only offered in Japan.
According to Rocket News 24, Krispy Kreme stores in Japan will be rolling out a limited-edition line of doughnuts called "Sweet America." Each of the America-themed doughnuts is topped with some kind of famous American snack brand. One is topped with M&M's; another with vanilla cream and crushed Oreos; and the last one is a chocolate doughnut topped with vanilla icing, Hershey's chocolate chips, and chocolate drizzle.
The America-themed doughnuts are not available in the U.S. They are, however, available in Japan for about $2 each, or in an "American Dozen" that includes two of each of the three "Sweet America" doughnuts, four regular glazed doughnuts, and two topped with multicolor sprinkles.
