Krispy Kreme Curbs Canada's Donut Cravings
Krispy Kreme is making life sweeter for donut devotees in Toronto with the grand opening of its first downtown doughnut café on June 28.
"Having recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary in Canada, Krispy Kreme is deeply committed to sharing delicious tastes and creating joyful memories with our guests," said Chris Lindsay of Krispy Kreme Canada Inc.
Opening at 7 a.m. on Thursday, the first 12 customers in line will be awarded a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts every month for one year and the 36 customers after them will receive a complimentary Krispy Kreme travel mug.
Krispy Kreme Pull Aparts, hand-rolled fluffy dough with filling, and Kruffins, muffins with a cream, chocolate, or fruit-filled center, are the two newest bakery bites that will be featured on the Toronto menu. The menu will also include signature eats, such as coffees, bagels, pastries, and an array of donut flavors.
Toronto's Krispy Kreme café is the Krispy Kreme's fifth location to open in Canada.
