Kona "Hawaiian-Style" Castaway IPA Debuts In U.S.

Kona Brewing, based in Hawaii but one successful part of Portland based Craft Brew Alliance, is bringing their "Hawaiian-style" IPA – Castaway, to the rest of the U.S. These days everyone is all about branding their beers within their own regional style, for instance this is the first I have ever heard of a "Hawaiian-style" and it reminds me a bit of No-Li Brewhouses "Spokane-style" beers. That's neither here nor there when it comes to the beer which as far as I can tell posesses no distinct Hawaiian quality but does have an awesome collection of delicious fruity, citrusy and tropical hops that intrigues me.
