Join the Merrion Wine Society
The Merrion is hosting its annual themed wine dinners in September and November. Through a collaboration with The Gloss Magazine, the luxury hotel annually hosts a series of six-course meals paired with six wines, dubbed The Gloss & The Merrion Wine Society. The dinners are hosted at The Merrion’s Cellar Restaurant, which serves seasonal Irish cuisine.
Fabulous Spanish Fiesta, a Spanish fiesta-themed dinner to be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, features dishes with a Latin flair, and A Very Glossy Christmas, a lavish holiday-themed dinner is planned for the final dinner of the year, Wednesday, Nov. 28.
The Gloss & The Merrion Wine Society has previously hosted 16 wine dinners at The Merrion, which is comprised of 123 guestrooms and 20 suites in four restored Georgian townhouses and a contemporary Garden Wing. The hotel also boasts the largest collection of private art in Ireland outside of the National Gallery.
The Merrion's dining options also include Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, Ireland's only two-Michelin-star restaurant, The Cellar Bar, set in an 18th-century wine vault, and No. 23, a cocktail bar.
