Jessica Simpson's Postnatal Diet Plans

Jessica Simpson finally had her baby!

The singer and fiancé Eric Johnson welcomed a bouncing baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson. She weighed in at 9 pounds 13 ounces. After what seemed like a very long pregnancy, Simpson was induced today. 

Simpson's pregancy has been gossip magazine fodder for months. People were buzzing about Jessica's baby-weight gain, claiming it was too much too soon, and fans and other celebrities started to congratulate her weeks ago on a baby that hadn't even arrived yet! 

It's been said that Simpson signed a $3 million deal with Weight Watchers to be the face of the post-baby diet, causing an Internet frenzy on the issue. She did mention in an interview that she planned to breast-feed, which will ultimately help her lose weight faster, but if joining Weight Watchers is going to lead her to a healthier lifestyle, than we're all for it.

It was no wonder the diet rumors were buzzing — when Jessica posed nude on the cover of ELLE in March, she talked about her crazy sugar cravings, including a buttered Pop-Tart.
