Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian Will Headline Several Norwegian Breakaway Cruises

Norwegian Cruise Line announced this week that Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian will be aboard two of its cruises later this year

Earlier this year, Zakarian opened three seafood-centric dining venues — his first restaurants at sea — onboard the cruise line's Norwegian Breakaway ship: The Raw Bar, which features crustaceans and cocktails; Ocean Blue on The Waterfront, a more casual dining spot; and Ocean Blue by Geoffrey Zakarian, the most elegant of the three. On the Nov. 3 and Dec. 1 sailings of the ship, fans will be able to interact with the chef at Ocean Blue.

According to the press release, Zakarian will host a number of events over the course of the cruises, including meet-and-greets and book-signing sessions with the ship's 4,000 passengers. A select few will have the opportunity to attend an intimate dinner with Zakarian and "enjoy a specially-curated Ocean Blue tasting menu served by the Iron Chef himself."

Norwegian Breakaway also has an onboard bakery by Cake Boss star Buddy Valastro.
