Hill Country Barbecue Market Now Open In Brooklyn

On January 11th, Hill Country Barbecue Market opened its doors in Brooklyn for the first time. Hill Country will now offer Texas-style barbecue in two locations in New York City, in addition to a restaurant in Washington, D.C.

The new 250-seat spot will feature many of the same staples as the other locations. Tuesday through Saturday Hill Country Live will have bands playing Roots, Americana, and other Austin-inspired music genres. Starting in February, they'll host live band karaoke on Wednesday nights.

The food will be the same classic barbecue Hill Country fans are accustomed to. A couple new desserts have been added to the Brooklyn menu – Mason Blackout (an homage to the Brooklyn Blackout Cake, it's chocolate pudding, chocolate cake, and dark chocolate ganache glaze layered in a Mason Jar), and the Cowboy Brownie. Also exclusive to the Brooklyn location is the Brownstone, a whiskey cocktail made with local 77 Rye Whiskey. Check out our photos of the new Brooklyn Hill Country Barbecue.
