Get Your Very Own Limited Edition Spaceship For Only $23K
If you fancy yourself a hardcore science-fiction fan and have George Takei's Twitter account as your homepage, you're going to love MB&F's MusicMachine 2 (MM2), which was made by Reuge. Taking on the shape of a spacecraft, the fancy Swiss music box plays songs from Star Wars, Star Trek, and even the The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin. If this sounds familiar, you may remember reading about Reuge's Musical Starship last year, which took on a much different shape. The MM2 however, coming in white or black, is limited to just 66 pieces and has two music cylinders, each one with its very own winding key. Not only is it made with carbon fiber, its sound boards are harvested from 350-year-old trees (only one in 10,000 trees make the cut, so to speak). The cylinder on the right plays bits of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, Angie by The Rolling Stones, and Should I Stay Or Should I Go? by The Clash. The left cylinder plays classic sci-fi songs from Star Wars and Star Trek.
