From Garden To Glass: Enjoy Bartanicals At Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve

Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Krabi, Thailand, introduces a new garden-to-glass adventure titled Bartanicals at their Chomtawan Sunset Bar. The Chomtawan mixology team have been carefully growing and nurturing indigenous Southern Thailand ingredients, including mint, ginger, lemongrass, coriander and kaffir lime in a bamboo-encased on-property garden to bring a fresh, organic infusion to cocktails enjoyed at Phulay Bay.

Guests are further encouraged to become their own mixoligists by creating their own fresh cocktails unique to Thailand. With the help of provided gardening tools and guidance from a Chomtawan mixologist, guests are invited to try their hand at ingredient sourcing from any of the individually labeled clay pots in the garden for their own homegrown herb-infused creations. From refreshing and tart, to enegerizing and spicy, each Bartanical offers a fresh, unique-to-Thailand taste.

Some of the offerings guests may choose include the Kaffir Chom, made with rum, kaffir lime, apple juice, lychee juice, lime juice and syrup, or the Phulay Sunset made with vodka, orange juice, coconut cream, ginger, fresh pineapple, fresh orange and lime juice, or the Ginger Sling, made with vodka, orange curacau, fresh mango, strawberry, fresh mint, lime juice, ginger and syrup.

Inspired by the bounty of ingredients in Krabi, Thailand, these new garden-to-glass cocktails genuinely embody the Thai culture, while still giving guests a hands-on experience that connects them to the landscape that is both entertaining and educational.
