Fulton's Tavern To Open In Encore Tower In Nashville, Tenn.

Restaurateur Luke McKee is set to open a 4,000 square foot pub, Fulton's Tavern, making it his second culinary project in Encore, a mixed-use condominium in SoBro, the Nashville Scene is reporting.

The new spot will neighbor McKee's first café/wine bar/coffee house concept, Second Wind, which is slated to open in August. Chef Frank Aloise will grace Fulton's kitchen, though an opening date is still unknown.

According to a press release, the tavern will be an "American pub with Irish traditions," and will feature classic comfort foods like burgers and grilled cheese. The opening comes after a culinary resurgence in the area, with spots like Etch and Red Rooster going through processes of expanding and remodeling respectively.

 "SoBro has a unique mix of locally owned restaurants," McKee said "and our goal for Fulton's Tavern is to bring a polished yet casual option where everyone feels welcome."

McKee is behind the remodel of Red Rooster, and has "plans to unveil additional restaurants in the area."
