Food Truck Feasting For A Cause
Gourmet chefs on wheels are serving up street eats at the second annual Riverside Food Truck Festival this Sunday, June 10, at the corner of Third and Market in downtown Riverside, Calif. Some 40 food trucks from Southern California, including Auntie's Fry Bread, Chubby's, and Slammin Sliders, are serving a fusion feast of Native American fusion, Latin, European, and Asian treats.
The Riverside Food Truck Festival is a fundraiser for two nonprofit organizations, the Asian Pacific Cultural Association and the United Way of the Inland Valleys.
Some treats for sale include crepes at Crepe'n Around, freshly squeezed concoctions from Mambo Juice, and waffles from Waffles de Liege.
The Riverside Food Truck Festival includes a motley crew of entertainment, from a free concert featuring GoodNight Argent and tribute bands to U2, Green Day, and Sublime to meet-and-greets with UFC fighters.
VIP tickets are $30 and include early access, seating, and giveaways. General admission is $10.
