The Food Of Southern Italy

I recently moved to a small town in northern Uk from Italy and, while I can't complain of my job and general condition, I've been missing a lot my precious Italian food since my departure from the 'Bel Paese.

But now, thanks to a frind of mine who spotted it on the Web, I finally found a good source of Italian food and products, including pasta, sauces, olive oil, cheese, bread and – above all – top quality Italian wine.

I've tried it with a moderate order of products and my feedback is extremely positive. The shipping is faultless, the prices convenient in relation to the quality of the products sold. The variety of products is their main advantage, coming from various regional sources all over Italy. Especially from the southern part, I must say. The Puglia olive oil, for example, is oustanding, as is the selection of fresh pasta, cavatelli, trofie, strozzapreti and the like...

One of my favourites is italian cheese, especially Puglia cheese (that's my father's homeland) like Canestrato, Caciocavallo and the marvellous Cacioricotta, a cheese which is best served with the tasty Pugliesina bread and, of course, the wonderful 'Pian della Civetta' red wine.

Thanks to the folks who pointed me at this website. It's a pleasure to combine the flavour of Italian food in an endless variety of recipes.
