Food Hero: Robyn Hillman-Harrigan, Executive Director, Rockaway Rescue Alliance-Shore Soup Project

When superstorm Sandy left community members without food, Robyn Hillman-Harrigan and Lillian Gerson started serving and delivering hot meals to help their community. That effort now continues as the Rockaway Rescue Alliance Shore Soup Project, an organization that hosts community programs, farmers markets, and has served more than 60,000 meals.
