Beyoncé is no stranger to weight-loss plans or lifestyle changes — she lost 20 pounds for her role in Dreamgirls, for example. Early this year, she embarked on a 22-day vegan challenge — or, as her husband Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter prefers to call it, a plant-based diet.
The couple partnered with Marco Borges, celebrity trainer and author of The 22 Day Revolution, for the vegan challenge. Beyoncé showed off the results at this year’s Met Gala, where her see-through dress earned her a spot on Vogue’s best dressed list.
The question remains, is Beyoncé still vegan? Well, she recently posted a photo on her website holding the remainings of a pizza pie. Some say it was the vegan pizza featured in Borges’ book, while others claim it was from a local pizzeria. Only the real Bey Hives know.
