Emmy Winners And Nominees Impress With Shades Of White On The Red Carpet

While the Emmys had it's up and downs (really—no wins for Game of Thrones?), what never fails to please is the well-dressed stars walking the red carpet into the Nokia Theater. And sure everyone may be a little judgmental at times, but honestly, aside from your favorite show winning all the awards, celebrity style watching is pretty much the best part. This year there were no major disasters, it was mostly underwhelming—but then there were very few that were pushing the envelope. Way to play it safe, ladies! A big color of the night, or rather lack thereof, was white, cream and nudes: Emilia Clarke, Taylor Schilling and Kerry Washington (just to name a few) were all looking gorgeous in ivory and pale cream dresses. Sure, there was also lots of black—but it is an award show, even celebrities need to pull out the LBD every once in a while. (And kudos to The Big Bang Theory ladies who showed up in burgundy, violet and green, respectively.)
