MARYLAND (CBSDFW.COM) – Ebola patient, Nina Pham, arrived in Bethesda, Md. At 10 p.m. Thursday night. She was transferred from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital to a National Institutes of Health clinical center there. 'Building 10' where Pham, 26, is receiving state of the art care is considered one of the best isolation units in America.
One of two nurses at the North Texas hospital who contracted Ebola while treating Thomas Eric Duncan, Pham was in good spirits as she headed to her medical airlift at Dallas Love Field.
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital staff asked to transfer Pham here to HIA clinical center. They said there are so many of their staff members who are isolated and under observation for Ebola symptoms they can't take care of Pham and prepare for another Ebola case if that occurs.
