The Horny Ram Opens Its Doors In Midtown East
Farmhouse Hospitality Group, the creators of restaurant and bar The Flying Cock, has recently opened its doors to another inappropriately named eatery, The Horny Ram, in Midtown East.
The two-level restaurant covers 2,800 square feet with an outdoor terrace and alfresco seating, perfect for warmer spring and summer months, according to the press release.
On the menu, created by executive chef Alex Pirani and Ken McCoy, founder and owner of Farmhouse Hospitality, you can find Hanger Steak Philly Cheese Steak (thinly sliced steak with bell peppers, onion, mushroom, and Gouda) and Sweet Chili Salmon (seared salmon with Thai fried rice, sweet chili sauce, and kaffir lime). The restaurant will also serve Artichoke Kale Dip and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which are also served at The Flying Cock.
"Our diners really appreciate The Flying Cock's sophisticated, but laid back atmosphere, and we're looking forward to bringing a similar vibe to Midtown East," McCoy said in a statement. "Our goal is for everyone to enjoy elevated classic cuisine, cocktails and local beer and have a great time in a space that feels fun and inviting."
The Horny Ram is located at 951 Second Avenue and is open from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. all week, with brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the weekends.
