This Taco Bell In California Offers Valet Parking
A California Taco Bell is offering customers a special luxury that doesn't typically come with a fast food experience — valet parking.
The news only confirms what many East Coasters have long come to accept as a fact of life for California residents, à la Clueless, when Cher rejects the offer to practice parking: "What's the point? Everywhere you go has valet."
Customers are being granted the special service as long as the Encina Grande shopping center in Walnut Creek, where the Taco Bell is located, undergoes a major $18 million redevelopment plan. The service is only available during set hours, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Valet service is not expected to continue after construction is completed, but the chain is known for its adaptability. Earlier this month, Taco Bell rescued its original restaurant from demolition by moving the entire building. In July, Taco Bell even hired a bouncer at its first restaurant to serve alcohol, in Chicago's Wicker Park.
