Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles Launches Hot Cocoa Treatments
The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Los Angeles has launched a special "Hot Cocoa Collection" of treatments just in time for the holidays.
Available now through December 31, each hot stone massage, body polish, facial and pedicure feature an indulgent twist by sourcing flavor notes from hot cocoa recipes.
Their classic 80 minute Hot Chocolate Stone Massage uses heated stones and chocolate oils to relax muscles and relieve tension. Hot stones are placed along the spine and used throughout the massage to rejuvenate and soothe tired muscles. A finish of marshmellow scented oils is applied to the neck and chest. An added treat of a cup of soothing hot chocolate with marshmallows is presented to each guest ($260).
The Mexican Hot Chocolate Body Polish includes a mint body scrub to rub away dry skin, an application of cocoa crème and a neck and shoulder massage with vanilla nd cinnamon scented oils (50 minutes, $185, 80 minutes, $260).
The Lavender Cocoa Vanilla Facial utilizes chocolate to revitalize and nourish skin and lavender and vanilla to calm and soothe the complexion (50 minutes, $185, 80 minutes, $260).
The Spiced Orange Hot Cocoa Pedicure includes a relaxing cranberry and orange foot soak followed by a brown sugar scrub and application of chocolate hydrating crème before applying a polish of choice(50 minutes, $95).
