Richard Sandoval Brings 3 New Restaurants To The Upcoming Conrad Chicago Hotel

Following his introduction to Chicago with Latinicity, the Latin food market in Block 37, Richard Sandoval is returning to the Windy City in a partnership with Hilton's new Conrad Chicago hotel. The 287-room luxury hotel is being built just off of Michigan Avenue in River North and is aiming for a July opening.

Richard Sandoval Restaurants will bring three concepts to the hotel, each with a different focus and atmosphere. Street-level Italian restaurant Culaccino will pay homage to when River North was home to Chicago's Little Sicily. The café-style eatery will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring made-to-order breakfast paninis, Italian pastries, flatbread pizza, and savory Italian dishes. The beverages will be Italian and domestic-focused, with a wine bar, Negronis on tap, and Italian sodas.

Taking advantage of sweeping city views on the top floor will be Baptiste & Bottle, offering American cuisine and a strong mixology program. Look for hearty fare in a modern tavern setting, along with sharable items such as flatbreads and charcuterie. The bar comes to you with cocktails mixed directly at table. A selection of barrel-aged cocktails will also be available.

Chicago loves its rooftops, and Conrad Chicago will offer one of their own just in time for summer. Casa Obake will present contemporary Japanese cuisine with a Latin twist. Diners can try hibachi-style Wagyu beef, sushi, sashimi, and bites with a fusion touch like tuna tartare tacos. In addition, the bar programs will have a selection of Japanese sake and beer.

Three tasty new options on the Magnificent Mile is a great way to start the summer, and Richard Sandoval and Conrad Chicago are confident that they will be an exciting new destination in the River North neighborhood.
