New York Brunchers, Celebrate: Dos Caminos Now Offers Bottomless Brunch
The bottomless brunch — that is, being able to drink unlimited cocktails during your meal — is one of life's simple pleasures, especially if you're a fan of day-drinking. Dos Caminos, which has five locations in New York City, has decided to get in on the action and has launched a bottomless brunch of its own, complete with a bunch of new dishes.
On weekends from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., guests to Dos Caminos' New York locations can dig into both new and traditional brunch dishes, and, for an additional $18, they can enjoy unlimited frozen margaritas, bloody Marys, mimosas, screwdrivers, or sparkling wine for two hours.
Brunch options include chilaquiles verdes; huevos rancheros with smoked ham; breakfast quesadillas (scrambled eggs, bacon, and queso menonita in a handmade tortilla); churro pancakes with caramelized apples; skirt steak and eggs; huevos a la Mexicana (scrambled with tomatoes, chiles, onions, cilantro, cheese, and salsa); Mexican French toast with caramel roasted bananas; enchiladas filled with chorizo, eggs, and cheese; and smoked salmon and avocado benedict. All of these options include your choice of coffee, juice, tea, soda, or a cocktail, and they all cost less than $20. Plenty of Dos Caminos favorites are still available during brunch, including guacamole, chorizo fundido, chicken enchiladas, and street tacos.
We had the opportunity to sample the offerings this past weekend at the invitation of the restaurant, and this is certainly all it's cracked up to be: The cocktails are well-made and were delivered at a suitable pace (even though it's tough to down more than a couple frozen margaritas in one sitting!), and the food was spot on, as expected; we especially enjoyed the breakfast enchiladas, which were hearty and filling.
