LA Now Has An Avocado Toast Pop-Up, Because Of Course It Does

AvocaToast LA is the avocado toast pop-up taking Los Angeles farmers markets and coffee shops by storm. Lizzy Cooper, owner, inventor and avocado toast chef sells a multitude of creations all based around the concept of that millennial home-ownership-dream-crushing avocado toast.

The gourmet toasts come in cool orders like the "Rad-Ocado," "Frida Avo-Kahlo," and the "Salmon Lil," a tribute to Cooper's grandparents, Sam and Lil. Not only do they have punny names, but they also sound like they have delicious ingredients. For example, AvocaToast's "Asparagus ExSPEAReance" consists of grilled olive bread, avocado, grilled asparagus marinated in olive oil and garlic, tahini drizzle, toasted crushed pistachios, pomegranate seeds, and fresh mint leaves.

If you're local to LA or just craving the full Angeleno experience during your travels, you can find Cooper and all of her creations Thursday through Saturday at Cafecito organico in Silverlake from 9a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sundays at the Brentwood Farmer's Market from 9 a.m. to 2p.m. She is also available for catering. Follow her on Instagram @avocatoastla to see where she'll be popping up next!
