Geoffrey Zakarian to Host Art of Food at Sotheby’s on Feb. 4

More than 20 of New York’s Upper East Side’s best restaurants will be participating

Last year's event was a smash hit.

If you love a good walk-around tasting, especially when it benefits a good cause, then mark your calendar for Feb. 4: That’s when the second year of Our Town’s The Art of Food, presented by New York Presbyterian Hospital, will be coming to Sotheby’s and bringing some of the neighborhood’s best restaurants with it.

Chef and restaurateur Geoffrey Zakarian, along with his wife, Zakarian Hospitality president Margaret Zakarian, will be hosting the event, in which more thand 20 restaurants from the Upper East Side will be serving dishes inspired by specific works of art curated by Sotheby’s. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to City Harvest.

General admission tickets cost $105, and VIP tickets (which include early access and an autographed copy of Geoffrey’s My Perfect Pantry) are $185.

Participating restaurants include American Cut, Atlantic Grill, Café D’Alsace, Candle 79, Crave Fishbar, Flax Mussels, Freds at Barneys, Jones Wood Foundry, Lusardi’s, Maya, Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque, Saint Ambroeus, Shake Shack, T-Bar Steak, The Meatball Shop, and Vaucluse.
