Red Duck Ketchup is a ketchup company formed by three University of Oregon students who wanted to elevate the condiment from its corn syrup- and artificial coloring-filled depths. The trio developed five different ketchup flavors: original, smoky, curry, spicy, and a rotating seasonal flavor. Each is made with quality, organic ingredients, and they are available in many local restaurants and bars. Red Duck also produces BBQ sauce and shrimp cocktail sauce.
Lately, the group has been featuring a series of pop-up happy hours around Portland, and on Wednesday, March 16th, they will be pairing up with Foster Burger for their Pretty Fly for a Fry Guy happy-hour pop up. Red Duck will be providing guests who come to Foster-Burger between 4 and 6 PM with a complimentary order of Foster Fries, a beer of their choice, and, of course, a serving of Red Duck Ketchup. The event will also be the debut of a new take on The Original Red Duck flavor.
