Food Truck Party In The Atlanta 'Burbs
Every Thursday all summer, peaceful Brook Run Park transforms into a foodie heaven of the city's best food trucks.
Like nachos and Asian food? Check out Bento Bus, where you can have a spicy blend of the two. Try the nachos, which feature juicy steak in a Asian barbeque sauce on top of crispy chips. Craving lobster? Cousin's Lobster (anyone watch Shark Tank?) has you covered. There is even a food truck for your dog — City Dog Market.
Grab a "Georgia Hot Brown" barbecue sandwich with pimento cheese and bacon jam from Field Dog Kitchen. Or shrimp tacos with a tangy aioli sauce and shrimp grilled to crispy perfection from The Mobile Marlay, the on-wheels outpost of The Marlay House in Decatur.
Pop a squat on the stone fence and enjoy the relaxing, albeit unidentifiable, live music. When you have had enough of the ATL heat, cool off with a popsicle from King of Pops or decadent "adult" ice cream Sundays from Daddy O'Brien's.
If you work outside the city, this valley of food trucks is the perfect detour before you trek home.
