Dunkin' Donuts Is Making a Breakfast Sandwich with Bacon-Stuffed Sausages
If one type of breakfast meat is not enough for you, you will soon be able to eat two-in-one with this new Dunkin' Donuts sandwich. On September 28th they began testing a bacon-stuffed sausage sandwich with egg and American cheese on an English muffin, dubbed the Bacon Lover's Sausage Breakfast Sandwich. The sausage is sliced and stuffed with bits of bacon, but the testing locations remain undisclosed.
Is Meat the New Tobacco? Meat Eaters Should Be Treated Exactly Like Smokers, Says UK Politician
Perhaps that is a good thing, since some believe meat should be considered as taboo as tobacco. According to US Politician Kerry McCarthy, the Labour Party Shadow Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, it should treated that way. McCarthy suggested that meat consumption should be discouraged in the same way as smoking cigarettes, due to the environmental impact the livestock industry creates.
It's Harder for Millennials to Lose Weight Than It Was for Past Generations, Study Says
Speaking of impact, the millennial generation is fielding the weight of the obesity problems in America. A new study from researchers at Canada's York University has determined that millennials need to work harder to avoid obesity. Researchers compared dietary intake, physical activity, and BMI across different age groups and found that when eating the same amount of food, 20-somethings nowadays gain weight more readily than their peers 35 years ago.
