'Chill At Your Will' At New York City's Newest Hybrid Café

Wind down and escape from the city at New York City's newest hot spot, Chillhouse, which officially opened today, March 21. Located on the Lower East Side, the full-service café and salon offers services from Instagram-worthy nail art to stress-relieving massages.

On the café side, the menu is split into two sections: "Turn Me On" and "Wind Me Down." Caffeinated beverages include drip brew from Parlor Coffee and matcha lattes made with House of Matcha. "Wind Me Down" options include the Golden Latte with GOLDE turmeric, the Ube-Bey Latte with ube and ginger, and some alcoholic beverages from beer to house wines.

Chillhouse also provides nail services using non-toxic products, whether you're looking for a basic manicure or full-on signature nail designs with from a look book curated by Lady Fancy Nails.

The chill doesn't stop there — the back of the wellness café features curtained-off massage rooms for services that range from 25 minutes to 80 minutes. Each massage option aims to target something different, whether you want to "cure" a hangover or maintain muscle health.

The café, which is located at 149 Essex Street, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Salon services, which will be available daily starting at 10 a.m., can be booked online.
