Chef Tim Love To Host Knoxville's 'Feast For The Farmers' June 5

Chef Tim Love will be hosting "Feast for the Farmers" on June 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This dusk dinner will be an outdoor affair on North Central Street between Jackson and Willow in Knoxville. This will be a celebration of local agriculture in advance of the grand opening of Love's new Knoxville Lonesome Dove location.

Love's Lonesome Dove Western Bistro can be found in both Fort Worth and Austin. The newest location will be his first foray outside the friendly borders of the Lonestar State, which is home to his flagship Dove restaurant.

Love's influences derive from his experiences in the American West. If you're not familiar with his cooking, American West is the classic cuisine of the American frontier, rolling tumbleweeds; essentially a "Fistful of Dollars" Clint Eastwood type of West. Love combines that classic frontiersman feel with southern hospitality to create his trademark style.

His "Feast For The Farmers" dinner will be a five course star-lit dining event. The feast will celebrate the culinary community and local food scene, and shine an even brighter light on the ever-growing farm-to-table movement.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Knoxville-area farms and will help to cover the costs required to directly distribute products to chefs and restaurants.
