Boston's Kirkland Tap & Trotter To Host The James Beard Foundation's Celebrity Chef Tour Dinner On April 12

Every year, the James Beard Foundation launches a Celebrity Chef Tour. Nationwide, the best of the best prepare dinners in top local restaurants, while show casing their skills and hinting at the delicious things to come for their yet-to-be released menus.

This year, on April 12, chef Tony Maws of Craigie on Main will be hosting a stop on the James Beard Celebrity Chef Tour at his other Boston mainstay, the Kirkland Tap & Trotter. As he so eloquently states, "The James Beard Foundation has a legacy of championing the hospitality industry, and spearheading amazing culinary events. As a James Beard Award winner, I am honored and excited to have the opportunity to gather some of the chefs I most admire at Kirkland, and help promote the organization."

Teaming up with some of the most talented chefs out there, Maws is joined by chef Jamie Bissonnette of Coppa and Toro, chef Spike Gjerde of Woodberry Kitchen in Baltimore, and the famed chef Bryan Voltaggio. Each of these chefs will cook one dish and the proceeds from the evening will be donated to the James Beard Foundation. The evening beings at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception — and as everyone knows, the cocktail game at the Kirkland Tap & Trotter is always on point! Afterward, a multi-course dinner will be served, keeping guests entertained dish after dish, with one-night-only specials. Tickets are $195 and going fast, so purchase yours before it sells out here.
