5 Napkin Burger's New Menu Goes Global For 2015

Believe it or not, there are those who haven't heard of 5 Napkin Burger, and they seemed confused when I told them I was heading to a food writers' dinner at their Union Square location.

"Really? A dinner just for burgers?"

No, silly.

The new 2015 menu is offering more than just some of the best burgers in town, with a new Fork and Knife section that offers chicken churrasco, Angry Pepper steak, and teriyaki salmon. Just a few of the dishes we were served include tiger shrimp ceviche, edamame hummus, spicy "Rhode Island-style" calamari, fried chicken and waffles, skirt steak, and turkey burgers.

"A visit to 5 Napkin Burger has never been solely about the burger," said CEO Robert Guarino. "5 Napkin Burger continues to define the next generation American bar and grill through an expansion of global culinary flavors."

Korean baby back ribs, mahi mahi tacos, Italian pesto flatbread... check, check, and check. Yes, we'd say they have their global bases covered.
