Dior's Golden Winter Collection Is Inspired By The Lights Of Versailles
Dior's holiday cosmetic campaign brings back Russian supermodel Daria Strokous from their Fall/Winter 2013 line, to be the face of the Golden Winter Collection. Wearing a sparkling, sheer Dior gown and large ruby earrings, Strokous runs around looking like royalty in the new, limited-edition shades. The makeup set is inspired by the lights of Versailles and is dripping in various hues of seasonal gold. This precious metal was the framework of the collection, bringing to mind the opulence of the French palace.

Coming in a shimmery, metallic sheen the lipstick, aptly named Diorific, is held in a curvy, golden case and is available in Diva, Winter, Royale and Minuit. The Diorific Vernis polish comes in three shades: Winter, Marilyn and Minuit. Trying a new touch on their basic lacquer, Dior has also come out with a gold and silver crystalizing duo that consists of iridescent micro-pearls to make your mani sparkle. The two, five-color eye shadow palettes, Golden Flower and Golden Snow are meant to glitter, illuminate and highlight your eyes, while two fairy-tale inspired Addict Glosses, Enchanted Rose and Pink Fantasy, create luscious lips.
