Decorate Cookies At Conrad New York's Winter Workshop
The Conrad New York is hosting its first Winter Workshop. On Saturday, Dec. 21, families can come in for an afternoon of decorating their own personal holiday cookies, enjoying holiday-themed foods, and taking pictures with Santa Claus. Children will be "Santa's little helpers," getting to design their own cookies with a selection of icing and sprinkles. At the hot chocolate bar, children (and adults alike) can spruce up a cup of hot chocolate with toppings including shaved dark, milk, and white chocolate, marshmallows, peppermint candies, and crushed gingerbread crumbs.
During the two-hour event, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., a selection of sandwiches will be served for both adults and children. On the "menu for grown-ups," there will be mini ham and mustard on whole-wheat, smoked chicken and apricot on French pain de mie, smoked salmon on pumpernickel, and Meyer lemon crème fraîche, prosciutto, and arugula on ficelle crostini. Kids will be served mini Nutella and banana sandwiches, as well as the classic combo of Concord grape jelly and peanut butter. For dessert — besides the spread of hot chocolate and cookies — guests can try a selection of petit fours.
Pricing for the event is $25 for kids 12 years and younger, and $30 for adults.
