Christy Turlington Burns & Vincent Lacrocq Star In Missoni's New Summer '14 Campaign

Going graphic for Summer 2014, Missoni dropped some of the brightest and boldest colors of the season onto a backdrop of the Spanish island Tenerife. Shot by Dutch photographer Viviane Sassen and staring supermodel Christy Turlington Burns, the new campaign features the iconic patterns and lines of Missoni in a collection of exotic colors and prints. Set with Plexiglas frames that add to the texture of hues and shades in each image, the props are meant to spell out the name Missoni with the passing of each shot, adding a little game to the fun, warm-weather campaign.

Posing for the men's accompanying summer line, model Vincent Lacrocq wears island blues and whites as well as light plaids that pop against the neutral backgrounds. Meant as a re-imagination of women in sarongs and saris, the collection for both men and women plays off the idea of natural design elements in conjunction with vivid hues. Reviving archival prints and iconic fringe, the collection takes on a luxurious and causal beauty that perfectly captures the feeling of summer.
