Chipotle Hosting Free 'VIP For The People' Tent At New York's SummerStage

Are you a fan of Chipotle, music, and margaritas? Have you been dying to try their new soy-based sofritas, but have been unable to because you live in New York and it's only available in California? Do you like being treated like a VIP? And do you like free stuff? If you answered yes to these questions, we suggest you look into Chipotle's free "VIP for the People" tent, which will be setting up shop at Central Park's SummerStage Concert Series all through the month of July, and will be handing out only 20 sets of passes per show.

Located near the entrance to SummerStage at Central Park's Rumsey Playfield, these VIP tents will set winners up with comfortable seating, free premium Patrón margaritas, and carnitas and sofritas soft tacos with roasted chile-corn salsa, tomatillo-green chile salsa, shredded cheese, and lettuce. Sofritas, the new tofu-based protein option, has only been available in California, so this is the first time it's available to taste in New York.

  • Saturday, July 20 (2 p.m. to 8 p.m.) — Planet Hemp / Gaby Amarantos / Emicida / DJ sets by Greg Caz in association with Brasil Summerfest
  • Sunday, July 21 (2 p.m. to 8 p.m.) — Oliver Mtukudzi and The Black Spirits / Fatoumata Diawara / Krar Collective / DJ sets by DJ Sirak
  • Monday, July 22 (5 p.m. to 11 p.m.) — Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue / Soulive / Anders Osbourne
  • Tuesday, July 23 (7 p.m. to 11 p.m.) — Martha Graham Dance Company / Special Guest: Dancin' Downtown at The Joyce Contest Winner / Forewords panel "The Long-Lasting Influence of Martha"
