Watch The Bulls Tune-up Vs The Wizards

Date: Monday, October 6

The Bulls open up the 2014 preseaon on Monday, October 6th as they take on the Washington Wizards at home. This game will herald the return of Chicago's own Derrick Rose after missing most of last season with a torn meniscus in his right knee. Also making his debut in red and white will be newly acquired stretch forward, Pau Gasol. Outside of the United Center, there's no better spot to catch this game than the Bull & Bear bar on N. Wells Street. The Bull & Bear has huge leather booths for optimal comfort and over a dozen 50-inch flat screen TV's for optimal viewing. As far as grub goes, the Bull & Bear offers classic burgers for $11 and a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, applewood bacon and swiss cheese on a challah bun for $12. This bar also features 40 different kinds of beer and the option to turn any draft into a tall glass for $2 extra.

Attend A Free Dame Myra Concert

Date: Wednesday, Ocotber 8

Stop by the Chicago Cultural Center on E. Washington Street at 12:00 p.m. for a free Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert. This 45-minute concert features an assortment of musicians from all different disciplines and styles. This Wednesday's show features the Arianna String Quartet and Nicole Johnson on the cello. Catch A Million Dollar Performance

Date: Thursday, October 9

"Million Dollar Quartet" is coming to the Apollo Theater on N. Lincoln this Thursday. This show was inspired by the famous recording session that brought together rock'n'roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins for the first and only time ever. "Million Dollar Quartet" brings that legendary night to life with a score of classic hits including, "Walk The Line," "Great Balls Of Fire" and "Hound Dog." The cast is comprised of Shaun Whitley (Carl Perkins), Adam Lee (Johnny Cash), Lance Lipinsky (Jerry Lee Lewis) and Brandon Bennett (Elvis Presley). The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are available online starting at $72.

Laugh With Russell Peters

Date: Saturday, October 11

Comedian Russell Peters is coming to the Chicago Theatre on October 11th for a stop on his "The Russell Peters Almost Famous World Tour" featuring brand new material. Peters has been performing stand up for over 25 years and is currently a judge on NBC's "Last Comic Standing." Peters' last special, "Notorious," was the first original comedy special made specifically for Netflix. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. and tickets start at $106 online.

Test Your Trivia Knowledge

Date: Sunday, October 12

Sunday nights can be the worst, the weekend is over and work is just a few hours away. Take the gloom and doom out of Sunday night this week by hitting up the Logan Bar & Grill trivia night. Located on N. California Avenue this bar offers free trivia with prizes awarded to all the lucky winners.
