Enjoy Your Tuesday On The Terrace

Spend this Tuesday at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago for live music, great food and scenic views. The weekly event, hosted by Chicago University's Al Carter-Bey, features Chicago-based jazz groups performing a free concert on the terrace. After the show, Puck's Cafe hosts a dinner buffet of fresh, locally grown produce for $25 a head. Or, stop by the outdoor grill located on the lower terrace. To cap off the evening, head out to the garden lawn for some star gazing.

Watch A Once In A Lifetime Performance

Date: Friday, August 29

Baby Wants Candy is performing for the fifth year in a row this summer at the Chicago Apollo Theater. Each show starts off with the cast asking the audience for a musical that has never been performed before and the first suggestion they hear becomes the show. From there, the crowd is treated to a 60 minute improvised production that is literally once in a life-time. The show starts at 10:30 p.m. on the Mainstage at the Apollo and tickets cost $15.

Stuff Yourself With Bacon

Date: Saturday, August 30

The world is celebrating International Bacon Day this Saturday, and who are you to not partake in the festivities? DMK Burger Bar has plenty of bacon infused dishes, like the always popular Patty Melt burger made up burnt onions, smoked swiss and last but certainly not least: smoked bacon. Crash Luke Bryan's Party

Date: Sunday, August 31

Country music superstar Luke Bryan is performing live this Sunday at Soldier Field Stadium as part of his "That's My Kind Of Night Tour." Bryan dominated the country music scene in 2013 with smash hits like "Crash My Party," "That's My Kind Of Night" and "Play It Again." Since his debut album in 2007, Bryan has had 15 songs crack the Billboard Hot 100 chart solidifying him as one of the top artists of the past few years regardless of genre. Lee Brice and Cole Swindell serve as opening acts and tickets are available online for $80 and up.
