Ingredients
- 1 1/2 ounce breaking & entering bourbon (st. georges distillery)
- 2/4 ounce lemon juice
- 3/4 brandied cherry juice
- 1/4 ounce simple syrup
- 2 dash of angostura bitters
- 1/2 ounce sparkling wine
- 3 brandied cherries, for garnish
Directions
- Combine bourbon, lemon juice, brandied cherry juice, simple syrup, and bitters in an ice-filled shaker and shake for 15 to 29 seconds, or until well chilled. Strain into a chilled flip glass, top with sparkling wine, add a single large ice cube, and garnish with brandied cherries.
- This is a robust drink with heavy earthy cherry notes, boozy bourbon notes, and herbacious/citrusy notes — all brought together with some bubbles.
