Cherry Bounce Cocktail

Shared by Jeff Hollinger and Jonny Raglin at Comstock Saloon, this cherry cocktail is great for those who enjoy a bubbly, sweet drink. It's a fun drink to have with your friends. 


  • 1 1/2 Ounce Breaking & Entering Bourbon (St. Georges Distillery)
  • 2/4 Ounces lemon juice
  • 3/4 brandied cherry juice
  • 1/4 Ounce simple syrup
  • 2 Dashes of Angostura bitters
  • 1/2 Ounce sparkling wine
  • 3 brandied cherries, for garnish


Combine bourbon, lemon juice, brandied cherry juice, simple syrup, and bitters in an ice-filled shaker and shake for 15 to 29 seconds, or until well chilled. Strain into a chilled flip glass, top with sparkling wine, add a single large ice cube, and garnish with brandied cherries.

This is a robust drink with heavy earthy cherry notes, boozy bourbon notes, and herbacious/citrusy notes — all brought together with some bubbles.
