Chefs Revealed For Life Is Beautiful Festival In Las Vegas
The Life is Beautiful Festival in downtown Las Vegas has announced 43 of the chefs that will appear in this two-day music, food, and arts festival. Eater announced the festival is October 26-27 and the sponsors hope it will attract music, food, and arts lovers as well as both locals and tourists.
The main mission of The Life is Beautiful Festival is "to inspire people to see all the beauty in life through the assemblage of both entertainment and ideas." Musical guests the Killers, Kings of Leon, and Beck are scheduled to perform.
While only 43 have been revealed, around 80 chefs total will showcase their skill in a bazaar style festival, filled with food and merchant stalls. There will be competitions, beer, and plenty of food to go around.
Among the leaders of the selected chefs are brothers Bruce and Eric Bromberg who the committee. Both graduated with the highest honors from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and now own the famous Blue Ribbon restaurants, most notably, at the cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Although many of the chefs revealed are based in Las Vegas, there is a wide variety of talent from all over the country scheduled to appear. Kim Cantennwalla of Honey Salt, Donald Link from New Orleans, and Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto are notable guests.
