Celebrity Chef Giada De Laurentiis To Open New Restaurant In Las Vegas
Celebrity chef and author Giada De Laurentiis will open her first restaurant in early 2014 in the new luxury resort, the Ganesvoort Las Vegas. The resort, which will be on the Las Vegas Strip, will include al fresco dining and provide patrons with extraordinary views of the Bellagio fountains and the unique sights of the entire Las Vegas Strip.
Gavensoort Las Vegas and the new restaurant are a part of Caesars Entertainment and Roman cuisine will be the specialty of the house. The menu will draw heavily from both Italian and Californian influences for its signature dishes. Many of the entrées will include recipes from the many cookbooks authored by De Laurentiis as well as recipes she introduced to viewers on the Food Network.
"Ever since I was a little girl hanging out at my grandfather's restaurant, I've dreamed of having a restaurant of my own," said Giada De Laurentiis. "I've held back on past opportunities because I really wanted to be ready for the responsibility and challenges that come with a restaurant. Now, I couldn't be more excited about working with Gansevoort Las Vegas and Caesars Entertainment to turn this dream into a delicious reality. The location, the al fresco dining and the views were just too good to pass up!"
Caesars Entertainment is very excited about the 2014 opening of the new resort, feeling that the establishment adds a new experience to the Strip, being both casual and a special place for cultured gourmands. Private dining room space will also be available for larger parties or group functions. The restaurant will be open daily for lunch and dinner and will accommodate about 300 guests. The construction of the restaurant is a new build out and Caesars is hopeful that the overall design brings forth a comfortable, warm and welcoming charm all of its own.
"Giada's exuberant warm personality and dynamic style will undoubtedly result in a restaurant that will not only be a perfect match for the experience we are creating, but also will become a destination in itself," said Jeffrey Frederick, VP of food and beverage, Caesars Entertainment Regional.
"She's the first female celebrity chef to join the Caesars Entertainment family in Las Vegas and will fit right in with our lineup of many renowned chefs including Bobby Flay, Gordon Ramsay, Nobu Matsuhisa and Guy Savoy. Finally fans will experience firsthand Giada's style and sophistication via her restaurant's ambiance and cuisine."
