Where To Celebrate Halloween In Portland
Portlanders are known for their creative attire year-round, but they take Halloween particularly seriously. In addition to classic events like a trip to one of the city's many pumpkin patches, and oddities such as the Erotic ball, Portland is hosting some unique new events this year. Get out and savor fall!
On October 26, join thousands of runners in Halloween costumes for Run Like Hell. Participants will enjoy ice-cold beers, tasty food from Spin Catering, and live local music. If you just want to observe, grab lunch at the SW 10th & Alder food cart pod, walk to Broadway, and cheer on the ghouls and goblins as they cross the finish line.
Put your costume on and head south on October 31 for Downtown Oregon City's Brews and Broomsticks Pub Crawl. Nine restaurants and bars will feature special Halloween-themed food and drink specials, live music, and free pedicab rides to safely move your entourage up and down Main Street.
Don't forget to satiate that Halloween sweet tooth by heading to one of the Salt & Straw locations to sample festive ice cream flavors such as candy corn, the Chocolate Graveyard, and Dracula's Blood Pudding.
