Cara Delevingne Fronts John Hardy's New Balinese Fall 2014 Campaign
It seems like we can't go a week without writing about Cara Delevingne, but we don't mind considering how obsessed we are with her. Of course, it seems like we're not the only ones who can't get our fill of the fun-loving model. John Hardy has picked up the British babe to be the new face of the brand for the jewelry designer's new Fall 2014 campaign. "There is no denying Cara Delevingne's appeal; her striking beauty, alluring confidence and effortless cool make her one of a kind. Cara is forging her own path with a free spirit, fierce independence and unique perspective on life, which is, at its core and inception, the essence of John Hardy," the brand explained.
Shot on location in Bali, the campaign was lensed by Sebastian Faena and sets Delevingne on the black-sand beaches of the island, posing in the water, John Hardy pieces dangling off her wrists and fingers. Personally, we've been waiting for this campaign for some time as she had been uploading images of the dreamy locale onto her Instagram. Having visited the John Hardy workshop in Bali, Delevingne says she has a better understanding of the brand and a new love for the island. "Meeting all the actual people who make the jewelry and seeing how happy they are...I want to live there," she told WWD. "I was like, 'Can you hire me, please?' I did jewelry-making in school, but I was very bad. [Here], you can feel the love in [the jewelry] and you feel like someone has actually put their heart into it."
