Calling All Cooks For 'Food Network Star'!

If you've ever spent all day binge watching Food Network's many culinary competitions, you know how sweet the rewards are. The thing is, as episode after episode plays, you are there compiling recipes alongside contestants and spending days thinking "I could do that!" If you really believe that and have the guts to try and prove it, now is your chance.

On Saturday, Oct. 19, the widely successful reality show Food Network Star will host an open casting call for contestants to begin a culinary journey of a lifetime. They are looking for cooks who feel they have the culinary and personality chops worthy of their own cooking show.
The application process is fairly simple: just log on here and fill out your application. If you can't make it to San Francisco for the open casting, don't fret! There is a video submission option so you can apply from anywhere in the country. Just be sure to read the rules and requirements before you head out for your big break!
