Buns & Buns To Open In South Miami This Month
This month, South Miami will soon become home to Buns & Buns, a globally-inspired eatery, with a menu offering, well, buns. According to a press release, the price-accessible, yet upscale concept will offer a journey of freshly baked bread dishes from around the world, discovered on the owners' trip abroad.
The buzz behind the restaurant is due in large part to its ambiguity – exact details of the official opening date, and even the names of the masterminds behind the project, have been baking for months.
While the mysterious team has surprisingly remained anonymous, the unidentified owners told The Daily Meal, "Buns & Buns is all about food, fun, adventure and offering that one-on-one interaction with our chefs to ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience every time."
Served over-the-counter or at the Chef's Bar, guests can customize their meals and even watch as chefs prepare their feast. A selection of ingredient-driven buns, like brioche and stuffed garlic naan, can be paired with exotic blends of handcrafted sauces and spices, meats, vegetables or seafood. The cuisine will cover the gamut with the likes of chili shrimp ($15), savory deckle ($20), steamed mussels ($10), and lighter fare items like burrata salad ($10) and salmon skin chicarrones ($5).
Stay tuned as we continue to update you with the latest details. Buns & Buns is located at 5748 Sunset Drive, across the street from Sunset Place, and will be open daily for lunch and dinner.
UPDATE: Buns & Buns is now officially open for dinner at 6 p.m.
