Come one, come all to The Village Voice's Brooklyn Pour, coming to the cavernous Skylight One Hanson (formerly known as the Williamsburg Savings Bank Tower) on Oct. 12 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a special VIP preview hour starting at 2 p.m. General admission tickets cost $50, with VIP tickets going for $80.
The first round of participating breweries has been announced, and it sounds like this is going to be a heck of an event. Eighteen brewers have so far been confirmed: Brewery Ommegang, Dogfish Head Brewery, Goose Island, Grimm Artisanal Ales, Heartland Brewery, KelSo Beer Company, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Original Sin Hard Cider, Otter Creek Brewing, Rockaway Brewing Company, Shmaltz Brewing Co., Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Singlecut Beersmiths, Sixpoint Brewery, The Atlantic Brewing Company, The Bronx Brewery, Victory Brewing Company, and Wolaver's Fine Organic Ales. Many more will soon be announced, and because each brewer presents multiple products, there will be more than 100 different things to fill your complimentary souvenir tasting glass with.
General admission will give you three hours to sample the goods, and VIP passes will give you four hours as well as access to a VIP lounge with a private bar, complimentary food, and a gift bag. Food will also be available for purchase.
For anyone with even a passing interest in beer, especially if you’re more interested in learning about some of the most popular craft beers out there (and in some cases meeting the brewmaster), we highly recommend you check it out and purchase tickets here!
