Brad Pitt "World War Z" Restaurant Hopper After Premiere In Times Square

Brad Pitt, "World Z" zombie apocalypse fighter and beau to Angelina Jolie, took his time to talk to reporters on the appropriately-designed "Z-shaped" red carpet yesterday in Times Square. Often generously breaking away to sign autographs and pose for photographs with the myriad of fans that showed up, Brad appeared to be grungy and greasy looking—most likely drawing inspiration from his dinner food after the premiere.

According to NYPOST, page six, "Brad Pitt was expected to slip off to an intimate VIP dinner for 30 at Meatpacking District hot spot Catch. The hush-hush dinner was for the cast and filmmakers, as well as Paramount boss Brad Grey, we hear." The report continues, "Following the dinner, Pitt was to head to a Catch Rooftop after-party for 200 sponsored by Esquire magazine and DeLeón tequila." The day before, Pitt appeared on Good Morning America and headed to Forty Four at The Royalton for coffee where he was asked by fans to take pictures, to which he kindly responded.

Angelina Jolie and children did not attend Brad's premiere, preparing to "embark on a trip for UN World Refugee Day, June 20." According to Entertainment Weekly, "Jolie has long been recognized for her humanitarian work, and served as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, or UNHCR." Ironically, Brad's role in WWZ is one of a UN representative. When asked how Jolie feels about him taking on the roll, Pitt responded laughing, "She just didn't want me to embarrass them."
