A Boozy Thanksgiving
As much as we love spending time with our families, a cocktail (or three) never hurts during the holiday season. Each recipe incorporates ingredients every Thanksgiving table already has, so there is finally a boozy reason to enjoy that canned cranberry stuff!
Cranberry Champagne Chiller
1 oz. vodka
.5 oz. Triple Sec
.5 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. canned cranberry sauce (or one spoonful)
1 oz. Champagne
1 lemon slice for decoration
Combine vodka, Triple Sec, lemon juice and cranberry sauce in a martini shaker. Shake for 20 seconds or until smooth. Strain into glass and top with Champagne.
Boozy Cinnamon Apple Cider
1 oz. Fireball
1 cinnamon stick for garnish
Microwave one glass of apple cider in a microwavable mug until warm. Add Fireball shot and add cinnamon stick for garnish.
Pumpkin Pie Martini
2 oz. of spiced rum (Captain Morgan)
4 oz. Mothers Pumpkin Spice Cream Liqueur
2 spoonfuls of pumpkin pie leftovers
1 tsp. of cinnamon
Crushed graham crackers for lining the glass
Combine spiced rum, pumpkin liqueur and pumpkin pie in a martini shaker. Shake for 30 seconds or until smooth. Line martini glass by dipping rim in water and then into crushed graham crackers. Strain martini into the martini glass and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
