Binghamton Hots

After a night out downtown, Binghamton Hots is known as a popular spot for students to satisfy their post-bar cravings. Little did I know, Binghamton Hots is far more than just a late night alternative to pizza or Night Owl. You can feed a college student anything after 3 am and you can count on it being devoured, but this restaurant is more deserving than a 3 am visit and the perfect time to make the trip is Restaurant Week. Don't think that Hots isn't worthy of consideration for restaurant week? Well, for $10, Hots will give you the option to choose any of the meals below and more for a three course meal. Let me repeat. Ten dollars, three courses. Here's some of the best options:

Pear, Pecan and Gorgonzola Salad
Romaine lettuce, glazed pecans, red onions, Gorgonzola crumbles, sliced pear and Dijon vinaigrette

This salad option for the first course has disproved my assumption that salads are a boring, healthy, tasteless choice and proved that it is possible to actually be exciting. The delicious glazed pecans along with the craisins and gorgonzola cheese made for a perfectly tasty combination.

Pulled Pork Sandwich Slow Cooked on a Kaiser Roll With Macaroni Salad

Pulled Pork Sandwich

This savory sandwich is simply the pork and bread but that is all this baby requires. The macaroni salad is an extra bonus.

Hot's Bacon Cheese Burger With Fries

Burger Close-Up

This beauty is a Hot's classic and makes for one of the best Burgers in Binghamton. With fries that are crisp and delicious, this meal demands your satisfaction.

To top it all off for dessert you have an option of a Strawberry Glazed Fudge Brownie. Yum.

When I walked out the door I was more than satisfied after the Hot's bacon cheeseburger, pulled pork sandwich and salad that blew my mind. I am pretty confident that you could order anything off the menu and it would please the your buds. Hots is conveniently located on 128 Washington Street, just a block away from the bars on State Street. With great food for the price and friendly service, I recommend taking advantage of the Binghamton Hots experience this Restaurant Week.
