The Beverly Hilton Now Offering 'Wine Down Wednesdays'

Which day of the week do you most feel the need to wind down with a glass of wine? You might answer "Every day!" And while you'll still be correct, Wine Down Wednesdays are a trend that's been catching on lately, and the Beverly Hilton has just launched one.

The Beverly Hilton, firmly situated in the one of chicest cities on the planet, is true in nature to image and trend, therefore one of the best spots we have found for a midweek glass of wine. Every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. you and friends can take 50 percent off select wines by the glass or bottle. Some wines offered that we were impressed with were Robert Mondavi's fume blanc and a Sebastiani zinfandel. Half off any of these is a steal.

"We wanted to give our guests a chance to try new wines and enjoy a little midweek break," Paul Carter, The Beverly Hilton's food and beverage director, told us. "We have cozy fire pits and plush seating, and our recently redesigned poolside lounge is the perfect place to unwind."

Not only does wine taste better for some reason on Wednesday, but enjoying a nice glass with good company around their poolside fire is our type of relaxation.
